DigiArt Fest came out of a collective of several digital design studios based in Kampala. The festival was created to bring skills of creatives in animation, comics & video games together under a common objective of uplifting the industry of digital art in Uganda.
Established in 2017 the event has attracted over 1500 visitors from all walks of life to come and witness first hand creativity from Uganda’s finest. The aim of the DigiArt Fest is to promote collaboration amongst digital content creators and businesses from other sectors and a platform to showcase production processes.
In 2021 the event celebrated 5 years in existence online amidst the covid19 pandemic attracting more than 3000 online guests worldwide.The annual event continues to grow bringing together guests of all ages and lovers of pop culture.
